A GUIDED EXERCISE ON COMMUNING WITH THE SUBCONSCIOUS COHABITANT

WHO WAITS WITHIN is the next immersive journaling game for the What Awaits series about communicating with an entity that lives in the empty space between the folds of brain matter. The creation of these texts was spurred on by the Minimalist TTRPG Jam hosted by Binary Star Games. 

There is no imagery or excessive formatting within the included files, only modest text and a couple tables. The depiction of the suspicious creature above is merely a lure to pull on the attention of the SUBCONSCIOUS COHABITANT - and if you're reading this now, the attempt was a success.

YOU WILL GATHER

• A well-shuffled standard 52 deck of playing cards - Jokers omitted
• Ten D6, also known as six-sided regular polyhedrons with subsequent numerals depicted on each plane
• A writing utensil, such as a pen, crayon, or pencil
• A sheet of paper or other reasonable flat surface to write on
• An audio recorder or some other means of recording your experience, such as a journal
• A solid surface, such as a desk or concrete flooring

The rituals described in these files can be undertaken by a single person for a solo experience or by multiple participants. To connect multiple tethers at once, there are only a few additional procedures to follow.
